NBA training camp and preseason has gotten underway with at least all 30 NBA teams having played at least 1 preseason game.

We are currently one week away from the beginning of the 2025-2026 NBA regular season. As we wind down the offseason here is the updated offseason news along with some unfortunate injury news.

Sunday, September 28th
The Warriors agreed to a multi-year deal with Al Horford. They also agreed to contracts with De'Anthony Melton and Gary Payton II.
Tuesday, September 30th
Warriors and Jonathan Kuminga agree to a 2-year $46.5 million deal. The contract has a team option for the second season and is designed to be a 1 + 1 deal for the restricted free agent.
Wednesday, October 1st
The 76ers and guard Quentin Grimes agreed to a 1-year $8.6 million qualifying offer. The deal will allow for Grimes to enter restricted free agency next season.
Nikola Jovic and the Miami Heat agree to a 4-year $62.5 million rookie extension deal.
Daniel Gafford will miss 2-3 weeks with an ankle injury.
Monday, October 6th
Nikola Topic will miss 4-6 weeks with a testicular procedure.
Ja Morant is considered week-to-week after suffering a sprain ankle in training camp.
Thursday, October 9th
Lebron James will miss 3-4 with a sciatica nerve on his right side.
TJ McConnell will miss at least 1 month with a hamstring injury.
Sunday, October 12th
Keegan Murray will miss at least 4-6 weeks with a thumb injury.
