The Heat traded away Haywood Highsmith and protected 2032 second round pick to the Nets for a protected 2026 second round pick. The move offers Miami some cap savings of about $5 million below the first apron.
Saturday, August 16th
The Heat signed Dru Smith to a 3-year deal. The move isn't explicitly connected to the Highsmith trade that was reported yesterday.
