De'Aaron Fox agrees to a 4-year $229 million extension with the Spurs.
Tuesday, August 5th
The Utah Jazz traded rookie RJ Luis to the Celtics for Georges Niang and two 2nd round picks. The move will send Boston below the tax threshold and avoid the repeater tax offense.
The Celtics sign Chris Boucher to a 1-year $3.3 million deal.
Friday, August 8th
The Celtics and head coach Joe Mazzulla agreed on a multi-year extension. The Celtics' current head coach guided them to the 2024 NBA championship just 1 year after taking over for Ime Udoka.
